Sanctuary

Another one inspired by a place near home, I just love the way the evening light falls on the twisting old pines. It's a lovely place to be, with lots of blueberries to found. This one's featuring my character Fellnir.

I started this a year ago, but I kept prioritising other things, so it took a while to finish. I still haven't figured out how I should have done the foliage (I had the same problem with my previous drawing), but I guess I'll just keep practicing and I'll get it right sometime. Also I set the goal to finish six illustrations during this year, and with this one I've reached it, so yay!
