Unnatural Selection

I'm so glad I'm finally finished with this one, been working on for about a month, and especially hard the last week. I am so seriously exhausted, but I had to finish it, because I'm entering it in UKM. Last years entry was this one: [link]

The canvas is ridiculously big, 1 m x 1.5 m, it was kinda weird going from an ACEO to this! But I'm so glad I did it, it really did teach me a lot as well as challenge me.

So the story of this painting has its ground in an on-going discussion here in Norway and Sweden. There are someone who wants to exterminate the few, already endagered wolves we have left here. This angers me quite a lot. Completely wiping out an entire race just isn't natural, just plain sick. This is why it is called "Unnatural Selection". Got the idea for the title by a Muse song, though the song itself doesn't fit what the meaning of my painting intended to be.
The newspapers glued on are articles regarding this subject and some headlines we though might fit. (My mom helped me with that!)

Actually didn't want to post this one, the camera made it really crappy and just plain weird, but I figured. Why not? I worked my ass of. Will probably post some close-ups as well. No intention of spamming your inboxes though!
